žWhat is “Sensor Derived Information Architecture”?

A Sensor Derived Information Architecture is a system (or a system of systems) designed to produce scientifically accurate results derived principally from non-literal sensors.  To be “scientifically accurate” the system must be capable of producing products that are repeatable, and can be accurately verified by using ground-truth measurements.  To produce these kinds of results, all key aspects of the architecture (from sensor to exploitation tools) must be calibrated and continuously validated to be calibrated through the entire data chain, only then can the information being produced be stated as scientifically accurate.
